RECORD SWAP TUESDAYS
Get your GruvGlide and wax that vinyl. LooseLeaf Lounge will host a monthly session for you to utilize them records you cherish. Busting out some '94 Gemini's we first used to learn how to spin, we'll be pushing your LP's and 45's on full rotation, as you pick and choose a track of your choice. Let us know where'd you shop for your recs and why you even have the damn thing, since all we use now our MP3 players!
No snobs, we want this to be an open forum just to enjoy some music and meet some new faces!

SPEAK | a spoken word event
Hosted by Mary Grisey, SPEAK has been a success since debuting in December 2009. Mary has done a fantastic job filling up the night with wonderful talent and inviting specials guests onto our window stage.
With SPEAK, everyone is encouraged to perform! Whether it be your poetry, comedy sketch, music, or tap dance routine....we'd love to share your talent. SPEAK runs every 2nd Wednesday at Looseleaf Lounge in Lakeview. The night will begin with open mic, then I will announce our featured writer & musician. Please come to read, sing or support...let's keep this event a success!

ACOUSTIC NIGHT hosted by Jessica Yoakum
Jessica Yoakum hosts this wonderful night of music. A singer/songwriter, Jessica creates an intimate evening of original music alongside cellist, Ira Ochs. She has hosted this night since it's inception and adds variety by inviting fellow singer/sonngwriters onto the stage. Acoustic Night is a monthly show that contiuous every 3rd Fridays. |
